Successful test at the JF Obergriesbach
under the close scrutiny of the charge of the regional fire training Wolfgang Hittinger Dasing completed from 6 members of the youth fire brigade Obergriesbach the first test of the force-person training. This
regarded as basic training for the volunteer fire departments in Bavaria and is a prerequisite for all advanced courses. KBM Hittinger acknowledged that the young firefighters candidates a very good level of knowledge and had, by some carelessness mistakes aside, no reason for criticism. He congratulated all six young people for outstanding performance in the test. It will be tested here such issues as education or knowledge of the burning fire fighting equipment and use tactical principles. He thanked the trainers and youth waiting for Mark Weber and Albert Ross for the excellent training of young people and asked them, in the second part of the troop-man training that begins soon, the same ambition and eagerness to create the day.

Before Period What's Mucus Looks Like
Arrival
are now already past few days since I landed in Costa Rica and finally I arrived at my host family with whom I will spend the next 11 months.
But now first to the beginning of the whole trip. On 02.07.2010 was finally going on my flight from Frankfurt airport, which I have been waiting since long time. The transition period after graduation was pretty exhausting, as have plagued a continuous questions about the year in Costa Rica. At the airport we finally saw all the familiar faces that one has already met at the preparatory seminars. At the 8 Weltwärts learning were still 5 other girls who make a community service for 5 months. Our flight was first described by Frankfurt to Mexico City in a big machine Lufthansa. Once there we checked out quite by accident from the airport and got an impression of the terrible smog of the city. Checked back in the journey continued on to San José. This was not the most pleasant section because we have the opportunity to witness a storm were from the inside. However, we survived this, too, came in the evening and in total darkness in San Jose. At the airport waiting already two AFS volunteers who drove us to the Arrival Camp, in a kind of resort. Here I got my first sleep after a rather long time
The next morning it was the first time the national dish Gallo Pinto (rice, beans and eggs) and exotic juices for breakfast. We soon found out to make the five other persons from all parts of the world their community service in Costa Rica. The next 2 days we received a training in all possible topics that could be important for our exchange year and got to know us better.
Before the course went on, we went to the AFS office in the capital. There we were the Head of AFS Costa Rica presented. With a fully loaded bus we went to a small village of Paraiso in the middle of the mountains. Here we got a glimpse of the beautiful nature in Costa Rica. Forests as far as the eye and again isolated villages, in particular through its colored houses stand out. In Paraiso we had to quickly find out that the course is in a city to find organic finca. The director, who is a German who has lived 15 years in Costa Rica, you could very easily be confused with John Lennon. We were presented the plantation, which generates all its own food and to the biological and medicinal garden, its own forest, horses, goats, chickens, composting, cats and dogs. We soon found out that in addition to the 6 hours of English a day just a vegetable stand on the menu. However, I must say the course was quite effective. On the third day we went again on a trip to the capital, where we visited the German Embassy. Here, the Ambassador himself took several hours time to talk about Costa Rica, his work and his life. He was one of the first exchange student with AFS.
After 10 days meat withdrawal times, and very funny with the others, it went to the AFS office, where our visa was issued. The excitement grew when the first were picked up by their gas family. But it was some, including me, we would have communicated itself to take the bus to the host family.
arrived at Santa Maria de Dota also my host mother was waiting for me. After a friendly greeting, we drove to her house, which is 90% wood and directly associated with its bar, restaurant and kiosk. I wanted the real Costa Rican experience, which I will get it. Tita, my host mother knows almost everyone in the city, has 12 siblings and two daughters (Zyanya and Xochilt). Xochilt (21) lives during the week in San Jose, where she studied photography and Zyanya (11) goes into the local Escuela. Furthermore, living in "La Cueva" is the title bar, Kattia (24), which recorded before 8 years of Tita was, and Kattias 4 year old daughter Rosa. are
in the bar or restaurant to be found almost always local, which lend themselves to the national liquor "Cacique" and it is very easy to talk come to me as any kind with a "Pura Vida" greets and shakes my hand. I feel very happy and looking forward to my next 10 months in "la cueva"!

Return Dyed Hair To Normal?
It's all over
Good day. I'm sitting in Mexico City at the airport. In 2 hours my flight is going to London to Europe and then to GERMANY!
to Berlin, to be exact, where I am picked up by my aunt and my cousin Niklas Jutta. A RIIIESEN THANK YOU AT THIS POINT:) Then are 5-day evaluation camp (back in Berlin-Kreisau) and then I return to Dortmund-Mengede. Finally! I can not wait honestly. At last, family and friends to see again and again slip into the "old life" before the study begins.
My service in the Albergue Infantil Salesiano is so over. The final stage was very stressful, so I had no time to blog. The
long pause I'm sorry, but I had simply "fed up" and needed distance. I ask for understanding. I have Friday, 25.6. had my last day of work and was approved at the Rosary of nuns and children. To tears I was honestly touched nothing. I was rather glad it was over. I had the feeling that I had to work during their studies in the last few weeks a little "worn down". Since I have not received training for teaching with rebellious children, I let affect me very often too emotional. I would just have to stay cool from the outset if the guys do not work or do things around and submit to beat so I'm unfortunately too late understood ...
the end, when I had it then understood to remain calm and tell me of the guys no longer have had frustrating (It's just corrosive if its own authority is found not only in question but is kicked by some children with foot and one therefore needs to be loud), I was almost ready. I have had too much frustration before I learned that you can in many situations the only faculty not "win" right, that you should not let too many nerves in order to maintain his authority. One gets then just by other means. For example, Saturday no television for children annoying.
That same Friday, it was farewell evening for evaluation camp Siijuve near Toluca (about 16 hours bus ride). I had many of the questions that came up there (for example, whether and to what extent it has changed over time, should that be better, what has brought my work, etc.) throughout the year has over and over again. Why was the camp (for me) rather boring, even when it interesting was the Mexican volunteers to learn to leave for Europe. For organizing an extensive (unfortunately, sometimes redundant) final evaluation is certainly useful.
After four days of camp I visited with Robin and Felix Sara (from Stuttgart, Volunteers in DF) in order to get an impression of the capital. I was absolutely pleasantly surprised. The highlights for me was one of the dark hardwood floors in Sara's WG to turn broadcast the feeling in the club, and to feel totally normal as white, because it is by no means the only one and shopping at Zara.
I am the whole "Gammel clothes" really sorry: the whole year in a flip flop, shorts and T-shirt travels well, you get (at least I) really like on shirts, nice shoes has so fortunately my Sara (the malls and chic clothes throughout the year to be had (and has not lived in the poor Chiapas!) slowed down to spend the money. I found everything so incredibly great, I would have bought the whole store when no one would have stopped me. By DF
went from there to Guatemala and then to Honduras. The following stations were on the agenda: Lago de Atitlan, Antigua, La Ceiba, Trujillo, La Moskitia, Utila
highlight was our trip to the Moskitia. This is a rain forest area in eastern Honduras, adding there is no infrastructure. Roads, electricity, running water, cars, alcohol - nil. I got there, the adventure found that I had been looking after a year or Mexico. Robin and I include three days through the jungle trudged. To Pico Dama (800m) tall - that was exhausting! Have stayed in a wooden hut in the rainforest, we washed in the river, drink from this very, with our indigenous guides rice and beans cooked above the fireplace and watch wild monkeys. As interesting as it was, I was glad to get the week back to civilization.
.....................
would conclude I have to thank all my sponsors! I'm incredibly happy to have made here this year. Without you this would not have been possible. What I "take with" will turn out well only in Germany, because I'll need some time to discuss all their experiences and are perceived to reflect and classify my experiences.
I'm sure the best of my service done and exhausted my possibilities in the children's home to have and I can with a calming feeling to leave for home.
Boarding begins.
