How To Get The Wrinkles Out Of Nylon

winter time ... Viva la

It is really cold for days, it blows constantly, it's raining and hailing and you really afraid that at some point breaking the thin window pane ...
The weather is so disgusting that you'd rather not get out of bed. But I am glad that my grandma knitted me so many warm socks! Right now I'm sitting
in the "Office" with meheren pair of socks, a jacket wrapped in thick and so cold in front of me ... so this blog entry is not as long.

are now all the volunteers arrived, and our team is now complete.

But there are so many new things here not to tell right now. The life and work routine, driving is now without any hassles and even the accent of the South African who is really funny, is an ever more familiar in front!

It is wonderful to work here with the kids, even if they require a really great deal ... and more than 150, without parents, you have to do quite a lot.
comfort allle Before you have here a lot, but also show attention and love to donate.
Yesterday was again delivered a one-month old baby with us by the police ... Unfortunately, that happens here constantly (Eight times already since I'm here)!
So, here before I suffer the cold death, I will go now back to our flat and snug myself in my warm bed!

Greetings from the cold Africa!

your Freddie ...

Gm/l Remote Programing

Africa!

come Slowly already native feelings when einbiegt after a long and not always safe ride on South African roads in the cozy Dabula Street. Today we had a hair flying around a bar hit by a truck on the highway. Man runs over the often almost a street dog or sometimes an already dead. To eight in a small Fiat Uno, by 30cm deep potholes through, past dead people on the streets ... all this is somehow normal. South Africa just! Currently we have no water
... throughout the orphanage not, and nobody knows why. But we had a power failure, because no one had bought time prepaid electricity.
In the last few days two more volunteers arrived, now we are seven - only one is still missing. Meanwhile it is also really tight in our apartment. Although here are only five beds, but also our kitchen and sitting area and in the evening when everyone is here to fit we are hardly concerned about the kids' table, let alone on the sofa ... viewing a film, so you have to remain trapped for two hours and hope that no one spasm haunts. Non smoking
The protection does not stop even in front of our flat: The girls want a ban on shisha-smoking (hookah) to introduce ... only 2-3 times a week ... but we have not hit enter! ;-)

We were once again with our "new" by the sea and it was wonderful!

Always nice to feel the wind, hear the sound of the waves: to see whales. Yes, we saw whales! Way out on the horizon, the huge animals were jumping out of the water with a big splash again fallen into the sea. And then water fountains.

Another time have Johanna and I have to make a pickup truck and the "table view" vantage point have placed a stop and watched the sunset.

If we here in Khayelitsha, or in the neighboring township Mitchell's Plain (Coloured township) to go shopping, you will know as staring as it would apply in Germany as racism, when it is a black man would do as well.
It's just a rarity. A Regaleinräumer in the "Pick 'n Pay supermarket (similar to buying land) is always happy when we come and want to talk to us. He's happy just with the only white people who go shopping there, to be known.

Germany is so far away. I (a regular evening news-watching), I'm only little for the news in the world. You get in here - except over the Internet - anything with more than Olympics, politics and disasters. And if you read something ("CSU fights left") it sounds so strange and unreal, all the way to Legoland.

It really is beautiful here in South Africa and I would like at the end of the year dranhängen a month and travel around the country. Therefore, I must observe the "Home Affairs Department to extend my visa ... hopefully it works! But until then I have to save lots of money.

much from Khayelitsha,

so long ....

How To Trade On Pokemon Gold Vba 1.8.0

bug alarm ...

Every morning when we slept at 06:00 clock falls out of bed and takes a step toward the kitchen, crawling army of beetles ("Bugs") around in the kitchen and on the table. Disgusting creatures eat anything that gets in their way. Worse, however, is a much smaller variety of bugs, called Bed Bugs. All who sleep in a wooden bed, are slashed from top to bottom ... Thousands of mosquito bites are harmless because really it. Well, fortunately I sleep in a metal bed.
Until now, each of us also have to throw up or had had diarrhea, but me. I just hope that holds so!
am Today I drove over 150km through the township. Quite a lot of travel services and we have had only one car (actually it should be three). But I've been around for well and may have me arrive in the driving style of a South African. They drive right and left, and go straight to flash or not flash, turn ... honk park and how it would not be married in Germany. It's fun!
Every day I experience so much that I would have to set up a "live chat" just about everything to reports.
only slowly get used to the misery to which Shacks and street children, potholes, completely overcrowded hospitals with 6 hours of waiting time for "Emergencies" and stories of rape. But in
Baphumelele is everything - even if only a few meters - very far away.
There is warped but just as happy children (of course, the circumstances of an orphanage for children with AIDS and TB, according to others) and everyone is so good it just goes there for the children.

extent from Khayelitsha ...

This is the Table Mountain (N2 Khayelisha) photographed from the highway. There is not always so clear weather. Often the tip is covered by clouds. This is then assumed that the "table cloth back on the table" is.

List Of Best Basketball Warm Up Music

The first day (the full story)

The flight with Turkish Airlines was better than expected, drinking, eating, Blankets & pillows, super nice interactive television with all the bells and whistles and very service. If it was not only the decoration, reminiscent of the early 60s and has not been renewed since then.
early morning, only six clock, even the food cart rumbled through the air with the horrible food, but at least it was food. Then I looked through the window, no air for the first time the African continent: Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and finally South Africa. With a stopover in Johannesburg, the last part of my trip to Cape Town in front of me. The aircraft cameras showed the landscape of Africa before and below me, the rundbewässerten fields, small villages, the straight roads ... The approach to Cape Town was flying low over the township and the thousands of small shacks, which does not even crossed by roads ... smoke somewhere ... and then it went out over False Bay ("Bad Book") on the ocean. Long shaft, deep blue water, dazzling sunlight on the Atlantic. Fog enveloped the mountain and the Devil's Peak. After a large loop went back to the townships towards Airport. The landing was gentle, customs officials and the friendly reception the other warmly.

was glaring right to ride on the highway to Baphumelele. The highway was full of people who crossed the eight tracks. Pickups with many blacks in the back. Right and left stretched a sea of corrugated iron huts, separated by concrete barriers. Misery on every street corner.

Wellblechhuetten am Strassenrand

over the now noticeably bad roads we went inside the township Khayelitsha to Children's Home.

Wellblechhuetten am Strassenrand

Baphumelele (the site is located in the map on the right side at the bottom, just Zooming) is a relatively wealthy orphanage, there are houses of stone, running water, sometimes even warm, and electricity.

The left side is not as difficult as presumed, but it irritated immensely that the oncoming traffic can be approached in a 4-stop location on the street.
But I've now settled in well and closed a few acquaintances.
One evening we wanted to barbecue with friends, but after an hour (we were almost there) the car was on the mind. Until then there was someone who towed us, we have entered the feet flat. Fortunately, we were not random in the township. We would end up with home cooked, drank wine and "shisha" (water pipe) smoking.

When one lives in White Township very dangerous because you will always notice, and assumes that you are rich (which is actually always true, because some families have less than three euros a day).
It is still very different between blacks and whites, it is usually treated very courteously and there is a touch of colonial times, when you pass the gas station and me "Sir" addressed and operated correspondingly. Whites are attacked less often, but when, the more intense. Many bands have given shooting rites, such as killing a white man. But it is wonderful to walk through the Township (or better off) and see all those people on the street, how to buy things Offering barbecue any sheep heads, their huts ("Shacks") to expand or repair cars. All life is played out on the street. Only at night it is relatively quiet. Everyone is scared of robberies, murders and rapes. Even the blacks. Girls are not allowed at night and not on the road. Every other girl here in 16 years was raped before. We need many volunteers

driving services to make all sorts of hospitals and accompany the children during the visits to the doctor. The worst are but the waiting times, the last at least two but up to eight hours. You have to engage the children quite a bit. But even in school To help the medicine (very much) to prepare, doctor children and property repair is our job.
comes Sometimes at night the police. By audible announcements and only then looking for staff Baphumelele. Because of the action is to launch a baby found on the street.

I care more for janitorial work such as repair, sinks, toilets, renew windows change whatever to mend fractured. But of course I also help the medicine, for hospital visits, Emergency's (emergencies) and mainly for infrastructure services. The work is very fun because we may choose to pace themselves and us. We are a lot of responsibility took place.

Baphumelele is a large complex with several fields. The main area is the orphanage with the baby house and the cluster homes. Then there is the crèche (nursery) and the Grade R (preschool) but also the Wood Workshop (wood shop) that is currently out of service, a soup kitchen "Rosie's Soup Kitchen", a medical consulting center "Health Education Centre" a laundry, voluntary homes and the office.

The last weekend we were in Cape Town and are considered the evening. In the most famous street of Cape Town, Long Street can be during the day for shopping and "shopping" and celebrate the evening wonderful. We have even met people from the Camphill Hermanus, we knew from the preparatory seminary. We stayed overnight in a "backpackers" a kind of cheap hostel for 72 - have the edge (about 6.60 €) The next morning, breakfast wonderful, with views of Table Mountain. Then we got the last of the old volunteers to the airport. From now on we are all on our own.

I will other reports on what I experience, see and learn. So my work over and over Baphumelele South Africa as a country. For it is incredible and fascinating tension here.

Maplestory How To Make Amoonstone Ring

Soon it starts!

Hello!

Now there are only three days until I fly to South Africa!
slowly This increases my excitement and time is running me about it. There are so many things to clarify and to do, but somehow it will succeed on ... hopefully!
But I am confident and am looking forward very much.

On Wednesday, 06 August I will then fly off at 18:00 clock from Frankfurt / Main with Turkish Airways. The flight to Istanbul, where I must change and then continue with the same airline to Johannesburg (stopover) to Cape Town (Cape Town) where I at 07 August was going to land at 11:40 clock.
How and whether I will be picked up is not exactly clear, but somehow I will be away in the little township of Cape Town with the name "Khayelitsha" (Xhosa for "new home", about 2 - 2.5 million inhabitants) . arrive
On Monday 11 August I will then have my first official working day and before the opportunity to settle me something!

Best wishes and thanks for everything!
... you will hear from me ...

your Freddie Abel
