Hola

Hi everyone!

I hope you forgive me the long send break. I got to 6 January enjoyed my holiday and then went almost to the intermediate camp in Oaxtepec, in the north of DF (Mexico City). The time before the camp in the Albergue was a bit boring, because initially only the four oldest children were there and only on Sunday (10.1) were moving up the rest. This weekend I moved: Out of the Albergue, with Elias and I may use the room more kindly (especially in relation onto Bad pleasant) and into the family of Mary-Carmen. The move was very relaxed calm and pleasant.

Wednesday we went to the camp already, but I can say, despite this very short time in the family that I lived with very nice people and I will get on well with them clearly! To the family that lives in this house are: Tonio (21, electronics student and plays on football.), Mary-Carmen (29, English teacher), Adolfo (60, math teacher, and - as far as I understand it - also a writer) and Martha (56, English teacher). Furthermore, the two parents are still 2 more children, but they are already married and moved out. The came on my first day here, directly on NEN tea (or instant coffee ...) and n bit talkin over and had their children in tow.

The second camp was compared to both the first rainy weather, as well as the amount of real leisure, group activities and the investment good. We were housed in 3 houses in a nice resort and it has rained only one day. Otherwise, the sun was shining and it was warm (we had been told just before that it would be bitterly cold and I was totally dragged many warm things I had not even touched, of course ...). There were only about 2 activities per day, which allowed much time to talk to other volunteers or sports. My highlights: We have again received the letter that we wrote in early August in Berlin on ourselves and were in a very informative talk on Migration to the United States and drug trafficking in Mexico's northern Yadira, our "boss" learn a lot about two of the most important "construction site" of the country. I found the lecture so well because it is incredibly difficult to obtain here neutral reports on such subjects, even though you live in that land. Research itself is both dangerous and not the other possible because I live in southern Mexico and they do not have the same problems.
