On 14 April it was finally over. AFS has sent me an e-mail with my project. This means: Colegio Técnico Profesional José Daniel Flores Zavaleta, located in the rural area of Costa Rica in Santa Maria de Dota.
The school was founded in 1972 and has set itself the task of covering a wide range of areas of education for its pupils. In grades 7-9 students participate in job preparation workshops some that are in grades 10-12 per absorbed by interests. In addition to language teaching environmental workshops are offered, such as working in the organic garden, with butterflies, or in chicken breeding.
As a volunteer I work in the organic garden and help in the butterfly garden to support the Department of Rural Tourism. I will also be used in the chicken breeding. Depending on needs, I will participate in language teaching. Working hours are Monday to Friday 7:00-16:30 his clock.
